Minimum qualification for admission : (SSLC Pass/ fail, +2 Pass/ fail)
Admission for boys are given in all courses and girls are eligible for Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Radio & Television Engg.
Medium of instruction and Govt. Examination – Both in Malayalam and English
Control of scheme : All the above scheme of studies and examinations are under the over all control of the Directorate of Technical Education – Govt. of Kerala.

1. CIVIL ENGINEERING (AUTO CAD)
This is a two –year course considered more or less equivalent to ITI, CIVIL Draughtsman & Surveyor which offer job opportunities to securing quick and well paying employment in various Indian and foreign concerns as Draftsman, , Surveyor, Overseer , Work Superintendent , Tracer Supervisor etc. Of course this course will give confidence for the candidate to conver himself as an able and efficient Civil Engineering contractors in P.W.D PHED , Irrigation Engg. Department etc. and such scope for advancement unlimited Similar he will be competent in designing Blue Printing, Estimating etc. so as to give an assistance to the publics for sending Blue envisaged by the town-planning authority . The Civil Engineering passed for the construction of building etc. as basically qualified to apply as licensed building Surveyor/Supervisor etc. in town planning /Muncipal/Corproration /Panchayath authorities.

II ELECTRICAL ENGENERING
The revised K.G.C.E Electrical Engineering have a duration of two years offer job opportunities to secure quick and well –paying employment . This qualification is considered more or less equivalent to I.T.I Electrician and Wireman etc. and hence candidates can easily enter to Govt. service like K.S.E board, K.S.R.T.C , Railway , Quasi-Govt. concerns etc. as Lineman , Draughtsman, Electrician , Overseer etc, Of Course this will give confidence for the candidate tom open an electrical service station of their own and a way to go abroad. The passed –out trainees are also eligible for wireman license from the State LICENSING Board ( with out Wireman test).

III AUTDOMOBILE ENGINEERING
The revised KGCE Automobile Engg. Have a duration of two year offer job opportunities to securing quick and well –paying employment . This qualification is considered more or less equivalent to ITI Motor Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic , etc. ahn hence candidates can enter into Govt. Depts. As Auto Electrician, Charge man , Motor Mechanic , Foreman etc. Of course this course will give confidence to the candidates to open a services station or Automobile workshop of their own a way to go abroad to secure good job.

Quasi-Govt., Private concerns like PWD , CPWD , P&T Railway , KELTRON , All India Radio , Doordarsan , Air force , Indian Navy , GREF , Reputed TV an Electronics company etc and to give self confidence to start an Electronic Service Station, Manufacturing unit of their own and a way to go abroad to secure a good job.
